Ginger
HAMSTER PEES IN TEACHER’S HAND. CAUSES LAUGHTER; GROSS-OUTS.
Port Huron, Michigan
February 2nd

Police were called to the scene of a disturbance at Lawrence Fine Elementary School, after a third grade teacher was besmirched by the classroom hamster.

Mrs. Parsons, who has been teaching at the school for over ten years, had removed the classroom pet, Ginger, from her cage to show the class the proper way to hold a hamster.

Almost immediately, little yellow drops of fluid began leaking from between her fingers, causing an uproar among the students.

Wendy Armstrong, age 8, described the scene as amusing. “Mrs. Parsons was all mad at us and stuff, and she was, like, telling us about how we should be more careful and junk. Then the hamster peed in her hand. It was hilarious.”

Other students echoed Miss Armstrong’s remarks.

Hamster attack causes varying reactions among students

“It was the funniest thing I ever saw,” said George Liverworks, age 9, a self-proclaimed ‘awesome dude’.

“She (Mrs. Parsons) got all over our case for not being careful and stuff. Then Ginger peed in her hand. It was awesome!”

But not all students were delighted by the violation. Some students, including Laura Tamer, described the situation as “totally gross and stuff”.

“It was, like, so disgusting,” Miss Tamer said.

"My friend, Melanie, was all like, ‘No way!’ And I was like, ‘that’s a total gross-out.’ And she’s all, ‘What-ever!' And I'm like, 'Nuh-uh!' And she goes, 'I am SO sure!' And I'm all, 'barf me out!'"

The hamster in question, Ginger (age 2), was taken into custody by police, and is being held for questioning regarding the incident.
